  15. Anyone know of a source of information to get kermit configured for Linux? 
  16. The kermit configuration files come with a lot of information for a lot of
  17. systems and it seems a bit of a task to swim through everything to
  18. configure just the applicable parts for your system and your needs.

  20. Specifically right now I need to be able to download identical file names
  21. when downloading files.  When using the kermit protocol it downloads the
  22. files but the file names are shortened.  I haven't tried zmodem yet. 
  23. Also, how about auto-redial and backscroll?  Information on this should
  24. make my transition from Minicom a little smoother until I can plow through
  25. the documentation.
